What tends to freak a dog out is when the other 'dog' doesn't send out the social signals to them. Like, sniffing bums and head down bum up in a social deference sorta manner. The stuffed toy is assuming a posture in doggy politics of a sort of guardedness. I'm not spouting shite either. Dogs do have these natural social cues they need to see from each other to know whether everything is a-ok or not
